The Faces of Mary
Our Blessed Mother is the model for all mothers. How appropriate it is for Mother’s Day to be celebrated in the May – the month devoted to Mary.
In her deep devotion to Mary, St. Jeanne Jugan would tell us that, “The Hail Mary will take us to Heaven”. Jeanne prayed often to Mary. She firmly believed that Mary was aware of all the needs of the elderly. As such, Jeanne was confident that Mary, as our mother, would see to it that all would be provided for the happiness of her elderly children. That is our still our unwavering belief.
Like our mothers, our Blessed Mother has many faces that portray her devotion to us, and the entire world. Take a look at all the faces of Mary that we found in our Home. Looking at each image, we are reminded of her great love for us in a special way.
