Many Thanks To Our Employees!
St. Jeanne Jugan’s vision was of caring for the elderly poor as one family. She believed that because God is our Father, all men and women are brothers and sisters – members of one family – and thus responsible for one another.
On Wednesday, June 21, we showed our appreciation to our dear employees, who are important, cherished members of our St. Joseph Home Family. They assist us every day in welcoming the elderly, making them happy, and caring for them until God calls them home.
Our 11 a.m. Mass was offered for our employees. After Mass, Fr. Tom asked us to extend our hands in blessing for the employees that were present.
A delicious luncheon was held after Mass. Sixteen employees were recognized for their milestone years of service.
We are very grateful to our employees. Each of them has a different, yet important role that contributes to the family spirit and the daily life of the Home.
