Our St. Joseph’s Home family is a mini United Nations, with Residents, Little Sisters and staff hailing from Colombia, Guatemala, India, Ireland, Korea, Philippines, Poland, Mexico, Russia and of course the United States. Each person brings a special piece of their tradition to create our own melting pot.
On Thursday, August 17, we honored the cultural diversity of our Family with an International Day celebration. Staff dressed in their native costume and brought their favorite ethnic dishes to share.
Our own ‘Taste of St. Joseph’s Home’ was a very fun way to experience and learn about the varied cultures our Little Sisters, staff and Residents.
