Holman Group Volunteers
On Wednesday, Oct 11, the Holman Auto Group gave us ten employees to volunteer outdoors. They had volunteered last year and we were very excited to have them return. They helped prepare our grounds for the winter and did much needed work for us.
They brought their own chain-saws and with that were able to cut down an evergreen tree, a large shrub and some unsightly limbs. They also livened up other trees. We were happy that they were able to put new edges on our evergreen trees with weed barrier liner, shoveling, mulch and spreading that around. The Holman Group went the extra mile and rented an aerator for us – and completed aerating our rather large lawn. A volunteer picked one up a distance away, hauled it on his truck and trailer and went right to work!
The men also cleaned up our Northwest Highway berm and worked on our Japanese Garden by picking up large rocks and pulling weeds.
We are so grateful that the Holman Group has adopted us to help with our grounds! The next time to stop over and notice our wonderful grounds, just remember it takes a village!
