Corpus Christi
It was a picture beautiful morning on Corpus Christi Sunday. Our dear friends Fr. Tim Fairman and Fr. Matt Jamesson from St. Theresa Parish included a stop at our Home during their Corpus Christi procession.
In preparation for the arrival of our Lord, we set up an altar in front of our Home. Wearing our masks and socially distant, we awaited the procession. As the procession turned into our driveway, we heard the harmonious music of the violin. Fr. Tim held the Monstrance under a canopy. Our chaplain, Fr. Damian met them and led the procession to the altar.
After praying the Divine Praises, Fr. Tim blessed us. Taking his place under the canopy, the procession left to continue its two-mile journey around our neighborhoods.
In these challenging times, as we try to navigate on a safe path, today was a great inspiration to have the Lord come to us – reminding us that he is with us.
