We Are Blessed!
In the words of Mother Provincial Maria Christine, “We have been absolutely in awe of the donations, the gifts, and the people that have wanted to become a part of this pandemic with us, to walk with us, to share it with us. We are blessed to have not been in want.”
Not only do we receive what we need from our “Urgently Needed” list, but many have gone out of their way to make sure our Residents are feeling loved and cared for. St. Anne’s Catholic Community Hope Ministries, for example, has been providing all of the Residents with meals from local restaurants like Moretti’s, Brunch Café and Panera Bread, every Wednesday.
On top of that, our staff has also been fortunate enough to receive a Domino’s Pizza lunch from Rxperts and Chiggy’s Gyros from the Willow Walk neighborhood in Palatine.
We are so grateful to be a part of such a giving community!
