The Little Sisters dedicate their lives to caring for the needy elderly at St. Joseph’s Home. They spend their lives proclaiming that old is beautiful. But, they can’t say the same for old bushes, trees and landscaping. Our 50 year old property was in need of a facelift. Many thanks to Julie Towers (along with her geese-chasing dog, Savannah) and Debbie Rorhwasser who took on the task and recruited the wonderful volunteers at PATH (Palatine Assisting Through Hope).
The tired grounds are now being transformed into a beautiful and tranquil retreat.
After the long cold Chicagoland winters, our elderly Residents love to go outside and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine of summer. They walk or are pushed around our grounds. Now they can enjoy the beauty of your hard work. Thank you for creating a garden paradise outside of our Home.
