Let It Snow
It had been April 2019 when the last snowfall this large hit us. So, we were probably due. We woke up on Tuesday, January 26 to a blanket of white. It continued for 24 hours, but our snow removal team was ready! Working in circles to clear and clear again our parking lot and sidewalks, they made sure that the weather was not going to delay our staff or deliveries. Seven and a half inches later, it finally stopped.
Sr. Juliana, originally from the South Pacific, was delighted to experience the snow! Anxious to send photos to her family, she didn’t bother with a coat.
Looking out of our windows around our grounds, we can’t help but marvel at the beautiful winter scene that the Lord painted for us.
We are thankful for our dedicated staff who fought the weather to arrive on time for their shifts and for those who braved the cold and snow to make it safe for us to come in and out of our Home.
