Welcome Back!!!
February 2 was the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus, a day that we celebrate in normal times. This year it was an extra special occasion, as it also marked the day that we were able to resume socially distant communal dining!
After being COVID free for several weeks and receiving both rounds of our vaccines, we have so much to be thankful for. Plus, it was so good to see and be with our friends.
In the center of the dining room was a statue of our dear St. Joseph next to a ‘St. Joseph Tree’. In honor of the ‘Year of St. Joseph’, Christmas decorations on the tree had been replaced with items honoring St. Joseph.
Before dinner we had a brief prayer service, thanking God in commemoration of this great feast and for our many blessings. Jesus, Mary (Cindy – our Volunteer Coordinator) and Joseph (Mike- our Maintenance Supervisor) even came to greet us.
Welcome Back!!!
