Thank you, Ryan!
When Ryan Loftus was preparing for to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, he was asked to perform an act of kindness. He and his family have been long-time parishioners of St. Thomas of Villanova. He attended St. Thomas school for many years. Knowing that his former pastor, Fr. Tom Rzepiela is a Resident at our Home, Ryan decided to help us.
To many, facial tissues may seem like a trivial convenience, but to us it is a cherished commodity! We go through cases and cases of facial tissues, especially during the winter months. With the cost of just about everything increasing, facial tissues are included.
Ryan set out to fill a large box with 25-30 boxes of facial tissues. As word spread, the response was overwhelming! His hockey teammates donated. A former parishioner who moved to Arizona sent a case of tissues via Amazon. Many people gave money for the purchase of tissues.
Fr. Tom met Ryan when he arrived at our Home to deliver the tissues. His original goal of 30 boxes grew enough to fill our flat bed truck! Since then Ryan has made a couple more deliveries. We are grateful for his hard work that gave us this supply of tissues.
Ryan wanted to make a difference in the lives of our Residents and he did! Thank you, Ryan.
Thank you, Ryan!
