Fly Eagles Fly – Go Chiefs Go
While in our hearts we yearn for our dear Chicago Bears to be playing in the Super Bowl, we never turn down an opportunity to have a party!
With a Bears tribute table set up under the TV sporting a Bears helmet and a football autographed by Mike Ditka, we settled in to cheer for the Eagles or the Chiefs.
Feasting on Super Bowl favorite foods – guacamole and salsa, pizza, chicken wings and shrimp cocktails, our fans gathered at their teams’ respective tables.
‘Fly Eagles Fly’ and ‘Go Chiefs Go’ were chanted from opposing tables across the room. The goodhearted competition quickly quieted, when football shaped cakes made a grand entrance.
It was an exciting game with good company and great food! The only other thing that would have made it perfect, would have been a Bears Super Bowl victory Oh well there’s always next year.
Super Bowl Party
