St. Joseph’s Home Hosts its First Paint Night
The easels with a blank canvas were being placed carefully next to cups of water, three brushes, and surprise covered paper plates. The small crowd was enjoying appetizers, wine, and desserts while still apprehensive about what we were about to embark.
Finally we were called to meet our blank canvas. No one felt too confident, but placed our trust in the instructor. Trying to keep some dignity, we all looked to see how our neighbors were doing and secretly compared our painting to theirs.
Within two hours we created our “masterpieces.” We all felt ours were the worst painting ever and everyone else did a fabulous job. You be the judge!!
A wonderful and fun evening was had by all! We laughed, we chatted, we met new friends, and lastly, we painted!
