Fostering New Life in our Gardens
Our volunteer gardener extraordinaire, Julie Towers, and her trusty companion, Savannah, have been beautifying our landscape for 4 years!
In this photo, you can see her replanting a flower that was once on our altar. Julie frequently reuses flowers from donations and replants them outside. Many of the flowers bought for Easter are actually hardy plants that can be acclimated and reused in flower beds. Since the Easter holiday is a celebration of rebirth, the saving and regrowing of these plants is especially appropriate.
Do have any viable Easter Lilies or other flowers leftover from Easter? Don’t throw them away! Consider dropping them off so Julie can work her magic!
