Corpus Christi Procession
A Eucharistic Procession has been a traditional ritual on Corpus Christi Sunday, since the 14th century. On Sunday, June 6 Fr. Tim Fairman and Fr. Matt Jamesson led a Eucharistic Procession along with many of the parishioners from St. Theresa Parish. We were blessed that they made a stop at our Home.
Despite the 90° weather, dozens participated in the 1 ½ mile Procession. Sheltered from the sun in the shade under our portico, we gathered to sing and pray as Fr. Matt placed the monstrance on the altar that was set up in front of our Home.
We are grateful to be a part of the St. Theresa Parish Community. It was a blessing to be a part of this Eucharistic Procession, that was a sign of our faith that God exists, that He loves us, and He is still among us – in the Real Presence of the Eucharist, in the ministry of the priests, and in the communion of the faithful.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in You, and entrust our Home and parish community to You, through your Mother and ours, Mary Most Holy.
