Happy Chinese New Year! 新 年 快 乐
On Friday, January 24, we got a little taste of China as we rang in the Chinese New Year! 2020 is the year of the Rat, which is the first of the 12-year-cycle of Chinese zodiac signs, and is seen as a sign of wealth and surplus in Chinese culture.
Surrounded by beautiful decorations, traditional Chinese music, and good company, we feasted on traditional Chinese food including homemade fried rice, crispy egg rolls, veggie stir fry, delicious pork, and of course, fortune cookies, all provided by our amazing culinary staff.
We are so thankful for our wonderful staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make this another successful Chinese New Year celebration!
