May is the month dedicated to Our Lady. How appropriate that we honored our “ladies” at St. Joseph’s Home with a Mother’s Day Tea. Grandmothers, mothers, daughters, aunts, nieces and friends gathered to pay tribute to those beautiful women who have touched their lives. A flowered arch framed the entrance of the dining room. Each table was carefully set with china a
nd an eclectic collection of teapots and dainty tea cups. The Inverness Garden Club graciously helped our ladies make spring flower arrangements for their room doors and centerpieces for each table. Delicious s
weet treats and an assortment of teas were served by the Palatine Women’s Club. Even though the April showers and cold weather have lingered, the mood was sunny and bright with the May flowers in full bloom inside the St. Joseph’s dining room!
