Home Sweet Home

  • February 4, 2014

“The “home” represents the most precious human treasures, that of encounter, that of relations among people, different in age, culture and history, but who live together and together help one another to grow.”
-Pope Francis

Strolling through our Home, it is such a delight to observe the many Residents enjoying the comfort we strive to provide for them. Upon entering the front door, more than likely you will be greeted by Residents reading, chatting or just relaxing in the cozy lobby area. Many crossword puzzles have been conquered in one of our sitting areas or lounges. The ice cream parlor or library is also a popular gathering space for an impromptu get together. The quiet prayerful atmosphere of our beautiful Chapel (currently under renovation) is a favorite destination for many Residents seeking quiet prayer.

One look at the joyful faces of our Residents and you can see the love and family spirit that permeates throughout our Home. True as they say, Love is key to the care of the aged here at St. Joseph’s Home. Comfort is king in the Home of our Residents!
