50th Hersey Love Bus
For the 50th year in a row in honor of Valentine’s Day, Hersey High School students dressed in pink and red poured into our auditorium with carnations in hand and smiles on their faces. They presented each Resident with a carnation and valentine.
From the baseball and water polo teams to the show choir, poms, and traveling performers, students of all talents came ready to put on a show. The entire event is run by Hersey’s “Service Before Self” program, a school organization that encourages students to give their time to others in and outside of school.
The Residents sang, danced, and clapped along to the show while they chatted with the nonperforming students. What a fun day! Happy Valentine’s Day!
