World Day of Prayer

  • February 6, 2018

Sunday, February 4 was the World Day of Prayer for Women and Men in Consecrated Life. Across the world, people gathered in prayer to celebrate the commitment, compassion, and influential work of Religious who have devoted their lives to the mission of Jesus.

Our good friend Fr. Tom Rzepiela, pastor at St. Thomas of Villanova Parish in Palatine, invited the Little Sisters to renew our vows in the presence of his congregation at the 9:30 Mass.

Together we prayed that as more single women learn about women religious, more will choose to follow their example. After we recommitted ourselves to our lives of prayer, community, and service; we were very touched as the St. Thomas parishioners expressed their gratitude to us.
